  I am a current resident here. I have no complaints. The office manager is super nice and very helpful. The park in the community is only 4 swings but when it's constantly torn up by the kids they don't put extra in it. The price a month I pay for a 3 bdrm 2 bathroom is $499. You can't beat that. Yes I have ants but I have had ants in many places cause they can enter your house through the smallest crack. I have never seen roaches in any of the places. When you have home issues the management will do what they can to help you. Yes there is a curfew for the kids it's when the street lights come on. Which was the same when I was growing up. The neighbors are nice. The park is cleaned up regularly. Yes there are fines for not doing things but it's part of the paperwork you sign when you move in so it's rules. You don't wanna live in a dump and rules are there to keep the place looking good. Rules are required to be followed even by the on-site manager. Theft is not an issue. Things may get stolen but not often and that can happen anywhere but I haven't seen it. Bus picks up and drops off my kids right behind the main office. I have full trust in my kids being able to walk home from the bus stop and I don't live right next to it. So if you ask me and my family I would live here. Great area. Not alot of sirens or city noises. Just a peaceful place to live.

  We own our home and still pay 245.00 in lot rent and a yearly 75 in tax.very high.Playground is 4 swings and a netless basketball hoop.A curfew has been added for children.Ants and roaches are prevailent throughout the park and they do not spray.Theft is very high for anything left outdoors.Constant water issues plague the park.Limited refuge pickup unlike the city.Limited pet options for homeowners.Strict ground rules for the lot you rent.Elms will not remove a tree or shrub from your RENTED lot even if it threatens your home.Itemized petty fines for a multitude of site violations.(not raking leaves,washing the OUTSIDE of your home..what?and the list goes on.I recommend Swings court or Sandburg estates both offering less hastle,cheaper monthly rates, more grounds options,and a consistent management team.Country elms has had 6 managers in half as many years.
